Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator Competency Program

In Malaysia, compliance with Section 29A(4) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Amendment) 1994 mandates that workplaces with five or more employees must appoint a trained Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator. Failing to do so can lead to penalties, including fines up to RM 50,000 or imprisonment for six months. Our exclusive 3-day OSH Coordinator training program is designed to ensure OSHA compliance, equipping participants with in-depth OSH knowledge and practical strategies for daily safety practices. This program culminates in certification as “Trained Personnel,” endorsed by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia—an invaluable credential for anyone aiming to foster a safe, compliant workplace.

Participants will gain essential skills to manage OSH documentation, implement the latest OSH requirements, and cultivate a culture of safety at work. Through modules that include HIRARC, chemical safety, ergonomic workstation design, and machine safety, the program offers comprehensive, hands-on learning across topics vital to effective OSH management. Safety officers, managers, supervisors, and those working in small and medium industries (SMI) will find each session valuable in achieving OSHA compliance and enhancing workplace safety practices.
